Dayton Gilbreath

Background: Dayton comes from Washington where he played at Bainbridge Island High School from 2005 to 2008. Dayton Graduated in 2008 as Team Captain and Washington State All-American. In 2009 he joined the Air Force Academy (Div. I), where he played all four years and was again, team captain in 2012. Dayton was 1st Team All League for all of his 4 years and the league rookie of the year in 2009. During his 4 years at the Air Force Academy, Dayton would return home to Washington each summer, where he created position-specific clinics and focused on working with up to 100 high school players a year, helping them understand and get ready for the recruiting process. Upon graduation, he was transferred to Okinawa, Japan, for 3 years, where in his spare time he set up 3 lacrosse leagues for kids ages 8 to 18, and coached the high school group. Dayton joined the Santa Monica Dragons in December 2016, when he is transferred to Los Angeles. Dayton left the Santa Monica Dragons to help build the Palisades Lacrosse Club into the great program it is today.

While running the Breakers, Dayton is also the Defensive Coordinator for the UCLA Men’s Lacrosse program as well as a volunteer coach for the Palisades High School Girls program.

Liam Rooney

Background: Liam grew up in Redding, CT and played at Joel Barlow High School from 2010-2013. While at Joel Barlow, Liam was named team captain and earned All-State, All-Conference and Conference Offensive Player of the year awards. In 2014, he walked on to the Denison University lacrosse team (Div 3), where he played all four years and was again, team captain in 2017. Liam was 1st team All-Conference for three years and earned honorable mention All-American (junior year) and 2nd team All-American (senior year). While at Denison, Liam helped the team win 3 conference championships, and lead the team to three trips to the NCAA Elite 8 and one appearance in the NCAA Final Four. Liam currently holds records in Denison lacrosse history for all-time points, single season assists and single season points. Liam's been coaching lacrosse since high school and has continued to help out with club teams, clinics and private lessons since graduating. In February 2021, Liam moved from New York to Los Angeles and started coaching for Palisades Lacrosse Club.

Zoë Skinner

Background: Zoë Skinner grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. She attended Towson High School and was a three sport athlete - soccer, track and lacrosse - and was a captain for the soccer and lacrosse teams her senior year. She played for Skywalkers lacrosse club and accepted a varsity lacrosse scholarship to UNC Chapel Hill. As a Tar Heel, she helped her team reach the NCAA tournament each year and win the program's first National Championship title in 2013. That year, she was also awarded the Yeardley Love Unsung Hero award for "[exhibiting] leadership as a positive role model and [involvement] in community service."

Outside of lacrosse, she was actively involved in UNC Athletics Leadership Academy and Community Outreach programs for all 4 years. Some awards from her tenure include: 

  • Tar Heel Leaders Of Distinction Award recipient (2014) 

  • Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Community Awareness Award (2014)

  • Atlantic Coast Conference Top Six for Service Award recipient (2013, 2014)

She moved to Los Angeles in November 2021 and works in the technology space leading software product development teams. She began working as a Breakers Lacrosse coach in Spring 2023 and is excited to help continue to grow the game in California!  


Connor Price

Background: Connor grew up in Northern Virginia just outside of Washington, DC where he played lacrosse at St. Stephens & St. Agnes High School. He graduated in 1998 as Team Captain and led the team that year in goals, assists, and points. He was recruited to Dartmouth College, where he played all four years, led the team in points during the 2000 season, and was named team captain in 2002. After college, Connor spent 2 years traveling and working in Australia. While living ‘down under’ he continued his love for lacrosse while playing in pickup box lacrosse leagues. Connor returned to the US in 2006 and began a career with J.P. Morgan in New York City. While in the New York area, Connor played 5 seasons of men’s club lacrosse for Tri-state Lacrosse. Connor moved to Los Angeles in 2019 where he now consults doing strategic operations for startups. Connor has been involved with coaching and mentoring since high school and is excited to be involved with Palisades Lacrosse. 


Chris Martinez

Background: Martinez is coming out of uniondale new york. Started playing lacrosse in highschool in 9th grade. Earned all county honorable mention his senior year. He went on to play at powerhouse nassau community college for george powers where he played two seasons becoming a team captain and All American his sophomore year. He went on to play at division 2 mercy college for jordan levine and earned first team all conference honors his junior year there and became a All American his senior year. He went on to coach for three years with Jordan levin helping lead the mercy mavericks to back to back conference championships and the NCAA tournament appearances.

Jamie Wand

Background: Originally from New Jersey, Jamie grew up playing soccer and lacrosse at Hunterdon Central Regional High School and area club teams. Jamie went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University where she played for her school’s club lacrosse team. Jamie moved to the west coast in 2014 to study law at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, OR. She started coaching lacrosse in 2016 after tearing her ACL playing pickup soccer and has been coaching ever since. In 2017, Jamie moved to Los Angeles and currently works in the music industry. Jamie is a certified yoga instructor and her favorite place in the world is Long Beach Island, NJ.

Reid Tudor

Background:  Reid played at the University of Pennsylvania from 2010 – 2014. While there, he helped the team win its first Ivy League Championship in 30 years. Reid has been involved in coaching since graduating from high school, helping with kid’s programs during the summer and running private lessons. He grew up in San Diego where he played at La Costa Canyon. His senior year he led the team to a championship and undefeated record (23-0). Having recently graduated from UCLA Anderson, he is living and working in LA and helping coach the UCLA Men’s Club team.

Meg Carter

Background: Meg grew up on the Connecticut Shoreline in Old Lyme, CT. She began playing lacrosse in elementary school, as her mom was a founding member and coach of the Connecticut River Lacrosse Club (The Ticks). Meg attended The Williams School, where she was a starting player for the Varsity Lacrosse and Field Hockey Teams from 2009-2012. She was elected Varsity Lacrosse Captain for her junior and senior year as well as MVP. She still holds the school women's lacrosse team record for the highest goals scored in a single game - 13! Meg matriculated to the University of Mississippi in Oxford cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels, and she was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity. Meg has enjoyed living in Brentwood for the last 5 years.

Danielle Gordon

Background: Danielle is from Rumson, NJ where she grew up playing lacrosse and soccer. She made varsity lacrosse as a freshman and played on a travel lacrosse team called T3. In college, she was caption of the Richmond Women's Club Lacrosse Team and taught private lessons at local schools. Danielle received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration and currently works at Amazon in media sales.

Stephen Haase

Background: Growing up in Rockville, Maryland, Stephen Haase was a three sport varsity athlete. He attended Our Lady of Good Counsel High School where he swam, and played lacrosse and soccer. He was captain of the lacrosse and swim team and earned first team all conference honors his senior lacrosse season. He was recruited to play lacrosse at Denison University in Ohio leading the team to reach the final 4 and elite 8 winning two conference championships along the way. After college he moved to DC to work for a global economic consulting firm before starting his career as a commercial real estate broker. Stephen has been coaching lacrosse and swimming since high-school for various clubs in the DC region before moving to LA in September of 2022. He is excited to continue coaching with Palisades Lacrosse Club.

Katie Hagen

Background: Katie is originally from West Chester, PA where she grew up playing field hockey, lacrosse and swam competitively. Katie went on to play attack for Washington & Lee University (DIII), where her and her team won consecutive conference championships and made NCAA tournament appearances. Katie led the team in points and was named to the all-ODAC team in 2013. Katie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from W&L and later a Master’s in Taxation from American University. Katie moved to LA from DC in 2021 and currently works in business management. Katie has been coaching since her move to LA and is excited to continue to grow the game out west!

Palmer Lloyd

Background: Palmer is from Northern Virginia, where he attended James Madison High School and competed with the Varsity team for four years where he achieved all-region and district accolades in his sophomore through senior seasons. He was recruited to play at Rutgers University as a mid-fielder and face-off specialist. Palmer played with Rutgers for four years from 2016-2020. While on the Banks, Palmer helped the scarlet Knights remain in the top 20 rankings in the Division 1 polls throughout his whole career, being part of the only Rutgers lacrosse team to date to clinch the number 1 spot in the country during the 2017 season. During his tenure, the Knights broke the program wins record twice. He earned a starting role his senior year as a Faceoff man for the Scarlet Knights. He has 4 years of coaching experience dating back to private lessons during college summers to coaching a club team in Virginia (Virginia Lacrosse Club) before moving out west. In May of 2022, Palmer moved from the DC area to Los Angeles and recently started coaching for the Palisades Breakers and Maddog Lacrosse Clubs.

Samantha Lenz

Background: Samantha grew up in Greenvale, Long Island and played field hockey and lacrosse in junior high and high school for Friends Academy.  She was Captain of both sports her senior year as well as most valuable defensive and most valuable offensive player respectively her senior year.  She also played on the Central USWLA President's Cup team in 1989.  She went on to play field hockey and lacrosse at Gettysburg College(division 3) in Pennsylvania. She lived abroad in London and Malaysia for 15 years with her husband Brian and three children Isabella, Riley and Tyler before landing in Pacific Palisades 6 years ago.  Sam started last Spring with the Breakers helping to develop the Middle School girls team.   

Myles Mills

Background: Myles was raised in Los Angeles, CA, where he played 4 years of youth lacrosse with the Santa Monica Dragons and was coached by Dayton Gilbreath in 2016. Continuing on to play 3 years of Varsity lacrosse at Palisades High, Myles graduated as team captain and as a recipient of the Travis DeZarn award for outstanding leadership and sportsmanship. Currently in his third-year studies of literature and business at UCLA, Myles holds a managerial position to the UCLA Men’s lacrosse team and recently started coaching for the Palisades Breakers.

Mike Adler

Background: Mike attended High School at St. Thomas Aquinas’ starting goalkeeper over a three-year span and 41-1 during junior and senior seasons combined, including an undefeated 20-0 senior season... Led St. Thomas Aquinas to the 2016 State Championship for the first state title in program history, earning Most Valuable Player honors for the championship game.

Mike Attended Duke University where he started 68 of 69 career games played. He totaled 3,886 minutes between the pipes to rank second in NCAA history, amassed 810 career saves to finish ranked 14th in NCAA Division I history and completed his career with a 10.02 goals against average and a .555 save percentage.

Jesse Cuccia

Background: Jesse played at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill from 2015 to 2019. While there, he won a National Championship with the team in 2016 and an ACC championship in 2018. He has 8 years of combined coaching experience from running private lessons in High School to coaching future collegiate All-Americans with the Long Island Sting. Jesse grew up locally and graduated from Westlake High School. There he was a 3x Varisty captain, 3x All-American, 4x CIF All-Region, 2x League MVP, and Adrenaline All-American. Jesse accredits all of his accomplishments and love for lacrosse to Mario Waibel, Ken Miller and Jeff Seibold and takes pride in being a Goon Squad, Long Island Sting and an Adrenaline Tropics Alum.

Libby Bush

Background: Libby comes originally from Philadelphia where she was a triple sport varsity athlete for lacrosse, soccer and basketball at Agnes Irwin High School from 1996 to 2000. Libby graduated in 2000 as Team Captain for all three sports and in 2018 was inducted into her high school Athletic Hall of Fame. In 2000 she received a scholarship to attend and play for the University of Richmond Division 1 lacrosse team coached by, at the time, the Women’s US Lacrosse coach, Sue Murphy. Libby went on to be named team Captain her senior year and currently holds a record for most groundballs in a season.

Libby lives in Pacific Palisades with her husband Alex and two daughters, Audrey and Emerson, who each received a lacrosse stick on their second birth day.


Brooks Davy

Background: Brooks is a native of Wilmington, North Carolina where he grew up playing lacrosse, along with soccer, basketball, surfing, and fishing. He then went on to Episcopal High School, outside of Washington, D.C. where he was a four-time member of the varsity lacrosse team. Brooks graduated a captain and first team all-state in Virginia. In 2015, he went on to join the Denison Men’s Lacrosse team (Division 3) in Granville, Ohio. During his tenure, Brooks managed to set new program records for goals (66) and shots (199) in a single season and ranks fourth all time in goals (157). He also helped lead his team to one Final Four appearance, two Elite Eight appearances, and one Sweet Sixteen appearance. The team also won the conference tournament all four years during Brooks’ time in Ohio. Upon graduation, Brooks went on to move back to D.C. for a year and a half where he worked in real estate while also coaching/mentoring at risk youth via the WINNERS program. In 2021, Brooks relocated to Santa Monica for a new job and began coaching with the Santa Monica Dragons before meeting Dayton and ultimately helping to grow the Palisades Lacrosse Club. Brooks brings a wealth of experience to the club via his highly successful career and many years of coaching youth lacrosse across the country.

Chloe Schmitz

Background: Chloe is from Rhode Island where she grew up playing lacrosse and soccer. At Moses Brown High School she made varsity soccer and lacrosse as a freshman and went on to become captain and awarded MVP of both. She graduated high school in 2008 as a first-team All-American and Under Armor All American in lacrosse. She went on to play lacrosse at UNC-Chapel Hill, a top 5 Division 1 ranked program that went on to the final 4 each year of her tenure.

Chloe has coached girls of all ages since 2009 competitively, at camps, clinics, and in private lessons.

Courtney Miller

Background: Courtney grew up in west Hester, New York. She graduated from Colgate University In 2012. She was Patriot League Midfielder of the Year and Colgate’s Female Student-Athlete of the Year. Courtney was inducted in Colgate university athletics hall of fame in 2017. Her name appears several times in the Colgate record books. Currently she is:

• First in Draw Controls (201) • Third in Career Points (241)

• Third in Goals (168)

• Fourth in Assists (73)

Courtney’s stats at Colgate put her in the Patriot League’s Top 10 in goals, assists, points and draw controls.

Courtney has continued her lacrosse career after Colgate as a member of the New York Athletic Club and has been on the Israeli National Team roster since 2015 where she represented Israel in the 2017 and 2022 World Cup.

Courtney is currently a certified Personal Trainer with several certifications ranging from Youth Exercise Specialist, to Speed, Agility, Quickness training, to a Performance Enhancement Specialist.

Patrick Cotter

Background: Pat grew up in Maryland where he played 3 years of Varsity Football and 4 years of Varsity lacrosse at Georgetown Prep. In high school, he was a 2x All-State, 2x All-Met, 2x Maryland Free State Team member, an Under Armour All-American and top 10 recruit nationally. Pat played college lacrosse at the University of Notre Dame, helping the team to 3 Final Four and 2 National Championship appearances, as well as winning an ACC Championship in 2014. Pat brings with him a wealth of lacrosse knowledge and experience. Professionally, Pat currently works in commercial real estate in the LA area, after moving to Manhattan Beach from New York City in June 2021. Pat spent this past summer coaching for Mad Dog LA and is looking forward to helping grow the Palisades Lacrosse Club.

Ben Ramsdell

Background: Ben grew up in Rochester, NY where he played 3 years of Varsity lacrosse and soccer. Ben was a 2x NYS Class A finalist, and All County 2nd team LSM senior year. He was recruited to play lacrosse at Division 3 SUNY Plattsburgh. Ben was able to make an immediate impact to push his team to the conference championship birth in 3 of his 4 seasons. As for coaching, Ben moved from NY to LA in 2018 and was the Mira Costa High School Defensive Coordinator and is currently the Mad Dog National and West Elite 2030 coach as well as Mad Dog LA 2027/2030 coach.

Ben is also a Territory Sales Manager for a Packaging Design company.

Armand Huribal

Background: Armand grew up in Easton, CT and has been playing lacrosse since he was ten years old. He was recruited by Canterbury, a boarding school, where he played lacrosse all 4 years along with wrestling and football. He was a triple varsity athlete and a captain for wrestling and football for two years and lacrosse for one. After graduation Armand went on to attend Miami of Ohio where he would go on to play club lacrosse. Armand graduated from Miami of Ohio in the spring of 2022.

Before graduation he was signed to Empire where he now pursues a career in music as an artist and writer.

Breada Farrell

Background: Breada Farrell is from Essex Fells, New Jersey outside NYC where she grew up playing all sports and picked up lacrosse in the 4th grade. Her speed, grittiness, and determination to win earned her 6 State Championships (2x lacrosse & 4x field hockey) and two-time team captain at West Essex Regional High School. She spent her summers with her travel team, STEPS, and enjoyed going to lacrosse camps with her friends, and the Jersey Shore in her spare time. Her love of the game earned a scholarship at UNC, Chapel Hill where she and her teammates won the 2013 NCAA DI National Championship her senior year. After college, Breada continued her game by competing with the Ireland Women's National Lacrosse Team in several tournaments, including the 2017 World Cup in Surrey, England. She also continues to play and be a team captain with the New York Athletic Club. She loves coaching and is excited to help grow the game more out west!

Anthony Canapini

Background: Anthony was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Throughout his 11 years of lacrosse competition, his extensive time playing Defense ranges from elementary through high school, as well as elite collegium and recreational squads in the Midwest.

As a starting Freshman for his high school’s Varsity lacrosse team, Anthony rose to the rank of Captain before committing to Concordia University in Ann Arbor Michigan. After two years of collegiate academic study and earning his associates, Anthony moved to Southern California to pursue an opportunity working behind the camera, in the film and television industry. Anthony has also performed duties as an Assistant Coach for the 13 Mile Lacrosse League in Royal Oak, Michigan coaching 6th, 7th and 8th grade athletes, as well as mentoring youth at his local community centers.

Caitlin Nobile

Background: Caitlin Nobile Knopp is originally from New York City and Scarsdale, NY, where she was a triple sportsperson.  She played lacrosse, field hockey, and basketball at Scarsdale High School and continued to play Lax at Ithaca College. She played center and defensive wing and wore an intense face mask after breaking her nose in a spring break tournament in Florida. Post college, she transitioned her love of competitive sports by competing in several New York City marathons, a Chicago Triathlon, and a few one-mile races in the Santa Monica Bay.

After working as a freelance reporter at People Magazine covering the presidential inauguration and then as a researcher at US News & World Report, Caitlin joined CNN working in various positions including publicist, booker and field reporter. Later Caitlin received a master’s degree in education and taught at a New York City preschool. You’ll find Caitlin and her husband Greg walking their beloved golden retriever Apollo in Pacific Palisades while they are empty nesting since their two children Devon and Delaney are off at college.

Alex Bush

Background: Alex hails from Chevy Chase, Maryland where he played goalie for the #1 nationally ranked Landon School. He also earned All-Met honors in football and went on to play at the University of Pennsylvania from 1999-2001. He has experience coaching goalies at the high school level at his alma mater and at Harvard Westlake upon moving to LA in 2010. Alex lives in Pacific Palisades with his wife “coach” Libby and loves watching his 2 daughters enjoy playing the game he grew up with.

Morgan Christy

Background: Growing up Morgan was a competitive swimmer and dancer which provided first hand experience into an athlete's lifestyle. She progressed from athlete to educator while at Michigan State University; working as a teaching assistant for swim conditioning, exercise physiology, biomechanics, and human anatomy. Morgan received her doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015 from the University of St. Augustine. She quickly moved to LA to work at one of the top physical therapy clinics which focused on treating orthopedic and sport related injuries. Morgan continued her education in this field to become a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist. Working at the clinic provided valuable experience treating a wide range of client types with both surgical and non surgical injuries. She has moved on to create her own concierge physical therapy business to provide high quality treatment that is accessible and convenient.

Marissa Carne

Background: Marissa grew up in Los Angeles as the youngest of 4 in a sports focused family. Playing multiple sports, she found her favorite to be soccer and played year round til college. Eventually hanging up her cleats to focus on finding her career, she decided to major in photography and film. After graduating from CSULB, she found her way into the entertainment industry operating camera for reality shows and sitcoms and eventually found her way to sports broadcasting. With this well rounded experience, she further developed her passion and talent for lighting and photography. During this time she was also building her own photography business in which she specializes in families, newborns, maternity and sports portraiture- constantly furthering her education and skill sets within her field.
