  • League Format--6s Lacrosse

As many of you are aware, lacrosse has evolved in exciting ways, and we are constantly looking for innovative ways to keep the game fresh and enjoyable for our players. With the recent success and increasing popularity of lacrosse in the 2028 Olympics, we are excited to mirror the Olympic format by introducing the 6s version to our Winter season.

What to expect in the Winter 6s Lacrosse Season:

Fast-Paced Action: The 6s format will bring a fast and intense style of play. With fewer players on the field, expect a quicker pace and plenty of opportunities for dynamic plays.

Enhanced Skill Development: This format encourages individual and team skills, which will undoubtedly benefit our players' growth and development.

Increased Playing Time: Smaller teams mean more action for everyone, making it an excellent opportunity for all skill levels.

Exciting Challenges: The 6s format will introduce new challenges and strategies that will add a fresh and exciting dimension to our beloved sport.

We are excited about this change and believe it will be a fun, thrilling experience. It will also be an excellent format for the development for our young players.

2023 Fall Lacrosse Season

  • 2023 LA Box League (2nd-8th Grade)

Our boys will be in the Los Angeles Box Lacrosse League. The practices will be shaped to prepare our boys to play Box Lacrosse (Indoor lacrosse). Box lacrosse is an extremely fast pace and physical style of lacrosse. It is played on a roller rink 6v6 (w/a goalie). Because the pace of the game is much faster than field lacrosse, the players’ shooting skills improve dramatically over a short period of time. Also, Box lacrosse goals are half the size of those on the field and the goalies are “over stuffed” wearing bulky pads similar to hockey, making it very difficult to score.
